IWU MSM Program Admission Requirements

IWU's Master's degree online program in Management requires that students possess the same qualifications as those students seeking to enroll in the on-campus MSM program.

The admission requirements for the Master's degree online program in Management consist of four simple steps:

A baccalaureate or graduate degree from a college or university accredited by a regional accrediting body or the Association for Biblical Higher Education, verified on official transcripts sent by the institution directly to Indiana Wesleyan University.
An undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher from the baccalaureate degree-granting institution at which a minimum of 30 hours was completed. If an applicant's GPA is below 2.5, the student may be admitted on a probationary basis.
A minimum of two (2) years of significant full-time work experience.
A maximum of six (6) hours of coursework may be transferred in from a regionally-accredited institution for any core or specialization course except MGT 510 and MGT 557.
Additional requirements for students entering the Accounting Specialization:

Six (6) graduate semester credits in Accounting with a minimum grade of "B" in each course ~OR~
Twelve (12) undergraduate semester credits in Accounting with a minimum grade of "B" in each course.

Requirements for International Students

For those whose first language is NOT English, IWU requires you take the TOEFL exam to be considered for the Master's degree online program in Management. The minimum TOEFL score is 550 (CBT=213 or Internet Score=79).

So that we can be sure international students have the appropriate college or university level education, another requirement is a "course by course" evaluation of your transcripts done by an organization such as Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE).

THIS EVALUATION IS REQUIRED FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE OBTAINED ANY OF THEIR COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY CREDIT DEGREES FROM INSTITUTIONS LOCATED IN COUNTRIES OTHER THAN THE UNITED STATES.
