IWU BSA Admission Requirements
Admission Requirements:
- Proof of high school graduation or GED certificate.
- A minimum of 60 semester credit hours earned from a regionally accredited college or university.*
- A minimum of two years significant full-time work experience beyond high school.
- Submission of all required items for the admissions process as outlined in the "application procedures section of the application or website.
- All candidates for the BSA degree must have met the prerequisite requirements for math prior to starting the core program.*
* Contact your program representative for more information about prerequisite requirements. If you have 30 to 59 credit-hours of previous college course work, click here to find out about our unique "Bridge" program that will allow you to immediately start working toward your bachelor's degree.
For those whose first language is NOT English, the minimum TOEFL score is set at 550 (CBT=213 or Internet Score=79).
So that we can be sure international students have the appropriate college/university level education, another requirement is a "course by course" evaluation of your transcripts done by an organization such as Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE).
THIS EVALUATION IS REQUIRED FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE OBTAINED ANY OF THEIR COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY CREDIT DEGREES FROM INSTITUTIONS LOCATED IN COUNTRIES OTHER THAN THE UNITED STATES.
(Graduates of some universities and colleges in Canada are also exempt from this "evaluation" requirement.) You may learn more about ECE and what it does by visiting their website at http://www.ece.org
