Application Fee
A one time, non-refundable U.S. $25.00 application fee. In an effort to provide better service to those who desire to use credit cards, the university has installed a secure server which functions to encrypt credit card numbers during transmission. Although the university cannot guarantee the security of the credit card number, the encryption process is the current standard for web financial transactions. IWU accepts transaction via fax, phone, mail, or this online service. The decision is yours to make. We're here to serve you.
Request for Transcripts
Associate degree students must submit transcripts or equivalent documentary evidence of high school graduation or GED completion. Transcripts from previous college experience are not required for Associate's students to complete the admissions process, but are recommended for those planning to continue into a Bachelor's degree program. An official transcript from each college you attended should be mailed directly from that college to Indiana Wesleyan University. Transcript request forms* have been provided. Print as many copies as needed. Please mail one directly to each college you attended with the appropriate fee (contact the school for the required amount). Official transcripts must exhibit the official seal and signature of the registrar. Transcripts that are stamped "student copy," "issued to student," or "unofficial" will not be accepted as official.
Transcripts from Non-U.S. Schools
Secure either a "General Report for the purpose of further education" or a "Course-by-Course Report" from Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE), http:/www.ece.org. Please be sure to request that ECE send the report directly to us at the address given above. If a "General Report" is secured, submit an English translation of unofficial non-U.S. undergraduate and graduate transcript(s) for the purpose of determining that the math, economics, accounting, and finance prerequisites have been met. (Math must be taken before admission. The other courses can be taken as part of this program.)
English as Second Language
For those for whom English is a second language, submit scores from the TOEFL. A minimum TOEFL score of 550 (CBT=213 or Internet Score=79) is required for acceptance into all IWU degree, certificate, and licensure programs unless otherwise specifically noted. Military Background If you are or were in the U.S. Air Force (enlisted) since 1973, please request an official copy of your Community College of the Air Force Transcript. Recommendation Forms Two recommendation forms are required from persons qualified to judge your expertise, character, and capacity for college level learning. You must use the forms provided. Please print forms from this site, or use request forms from Adult Enrollment Services (see address and phone above).
Notice of Non-Discriminatory Policy as to Students:
Indiana Wesleyan University admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to the students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
