IWU ASA Program Curriculum

IWU Associate of Science in Accounting curriculum is a cumulative, sequential program of distance learning courses that build your managerial, leadership, and ethical proficiencies.
IWU Associate of Science in Accounting program's curriculum teaches you to practice leadership through service to others. You learn that your responsibility as an accountant is to ensure people have the information they need to accomplish their work. Through our program of distance learning courses, you learn that when you meet the needs of the organization through a practice of collaboration, listening, ethical action, personal integrity, and character-building values, you attain both your personal goals and those of your business. The Associate of Science in Accounting Program
The Associate of Science degree in Accounting (ASA) program consists of 62 credits of course work, which includes both business and liberal arts courses. The ASA design requires the student to complete all 62 hours with Indiana Wesleyan University. Therefore, transfer of credits is not an option for this degree.
The courses in the program relate theory to practice. Courses are primarily three credit hours, and each course is a required component of the program and should be taken in sequence.
The curriculum will be completed in the order established by Indiana Wesleyan University. IWU reserves the right to modify the curriculum as necessary.
